These babies are thriving inspite of arriving in a very frail condition.
Looking at beautiful Sujita, now 7 months old, it's hard to believe she weighed only 1kg. (2.2 lbs) when she arrived.
Susmita is another baby who weighed only 2kg. (4.4lbs.) at birth. This is the average birth weight in the area, which is why we have started a maternal health care programme.
Lovely Stefina above weighed 2 kg. (4.4lbs) when she arrived.
Jamuna weighed 1.2 kg. at birth. She is now 1 1/2 months old and doing well.
