List of packages received since the beginning of March 2010

 

We send a huge 'thank you' to the many friends of the Mercy Home who have supplied so many items. These things have transformed the care of the babies, who now have nice clean clothes and supplies, and live in a beautiful, hygienic nursery. The result is not just aesthetic--the cases of sickness have been greatly reduced and trips to the hospital are now rare.

ONCE AGAIN, WE SEND OUT HEARTFELT THANKS FOR THESE WONDERFUL ITEMS, ALL OF WHICH ARE VERY NEEDED AND HELPFUL.

• Hilkka, Finland. Package from Shoppers Stop, with dresses, panties and pull-toy.
• Tiina Lehtisalo, Finland. Package 3 of 3. 40 baby pillow cases, 10 blankets, 34 cloths for feeding the babies.

  April and May

• Tina Lehtisalo, Finland. Two pages of cotton summer blankets, 40 in total.
• Outi, Helsinki 3 packages: Toddler-size cotton sleep suits, toddler clothes and socks, pillow covers and sheets
• Maria Salo, Vesiliahti, Finland, 2 packages - towels, clothes, toy animals, nappies and nappy covers, hat, bibs, pillow covers, little gift bags for the workders, and a cloth baby book.
• Hillkka, Finland - toddler pluzzle, shorts and skirts for the toddlers, underwear and miscellaneous toddler clothes.
• Anni and Heli Kauppinen, Finland - clothes and diapers
• Beginning of March - A green and pink- striped package, with no name of sender, containing many tee-shirts and other baby clothes.
• 18th March - A package from Kisia Rante containing 10 baby clothes, 1 hat, 2 diaper covers.
• 18th March - From Riikka Rajamaki containing larger size baby dresses and some tee-shirts and shorts.
• 24th March - From Outi, Helsinki, white baby pillow covers and sheets
• Beginning of April - From Outi Helsinki, baby clothes.
