Welcome

RPI assists disadvantaged villagers in rural areas near Usilampatti, Madurai district, Tamil Nadu. Our current programs are aimed at improving the health, well-being and status of females and the differently-abled in the villages, and combatting the menace of female infanticide and foeticide. We aslo provide educational opportunities for disadvantaged village children, especially female and handicapped children. RPI also helps run the Claretian Mercy Home for abandoned babies, which rescues unwanted babies, mostly female, to prevent them from being killed.
